Shall we simulate? Join Symkaton 4.0!
A creative approach to engineering, openness to cooperation and practical application of knowledge – these are the most important things needed by the participants of the new competition organized jointly by Symkom and the Faculty of Energy and Fuels of AGH. We invite you to participate in Symkaton 4.0!
The aim of the competition is to promote innovation in engineering. What matters is the combination of the possibilities offered by the use of computer simulations with the ingenuity that allows solving a specific task. And all this in small teams, so that their members can jointly develop the tasks that the jury will set before them. We have prepared attractive prizes for the winning team, thanks to which the winners will be able to develop their scientific progress.
Rules of participation
The competition consists of two stages.In the first stage, carried out remotely, the challenge will be to design a hook that will withstand the greatest load. The effects of the work will be checked in the laboratory located at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at AGH. Applications with the project can be sent until June 30, 2025.
A maximum of 10 teams that received the highest number of points in the first task will be invited to the second stage. The subject of the second task is a secret – the teams will have 24 hours to prepare a solution. The final will take place in Krakow at the AGH University of Science and Technology on September 29 and 30. Winners announced on September 30.
All engineering and master’s degree students are invited to the competition. Student status is required on the day of registration for participation in the competition. Just form a team of 2-3 people, submit your application via the website: Symkaton 4.0 and… act!
